Mission Statement

Procurement Department is committed to supporting the
mission of the University of Connecticut Health Center,
which is “helping people achieve and maintain healthy lives
and restoring wellness/health to maximum attainable levels”
through research, education and clinical care. Our
department is staffed by procurement professionals who have
the necessary skill set, knowledge base and negotiating
skills to assist UConn Health Center personnel with the
acquisition of materials, equipment and contractual
services. Utilizing this expertise, our best procurement
practices and the highest standards of professional ethics
and integrity, we ensure that procurement decisions are made
in the best interest of the Health Center and in compliance
with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.
